Rama and the corrupt ministers in a life-or-death struggle to save Donika Prela, the Independent Qualification Commission (KPK)should have announced the decision since March 5, but it holds it hostage in order not to allow an appeal to the Appellate College, US-EU representatives in theInternational Monitoring Operation (IMO) are not allowed to recommend the dismissal of the prosecutor who is holding the files of the ministers and mayors of Rama in her drawer.
The head of the Prosecution Office for Serious Crimes, Donika Prela, has pushed the Independent Qualification Commission into another great scandal, thus betraying the trust of the public in Vetting. After confirming her in duty, operating with double standards, the Vetting Commission has hidden the decision on Donika Prela, not allowing the International Monitoring Operation and the Public Commissioner to appeal it to the Special Appellate College. According to sources, US-EU representatives at IOM are ready to recommend the dismissal of Donika Prela, but they cannot do it because KPPis not making the decision public. Behind the scenes, Edi Rama, his corrupt ministers and mayors have taken up a life-or-death struggle to save Donika Prela, who is holding the files of the ministers and mayors of Rama in her drawer.
The Vetting’s commission should have announced and published online the decision on Prela, on March 5, but it has not done it so far, confirming once again the invasion by the political power. “The Independent Qualification Commission notifies that after reviewing the documentation and the hearing session on 22.01.2019 for the subject of the re-evaluation, Donika Prela, based on law no. 84/2016, today, dated 05.01.2019, decided: Confirmation in duty of the re-evaluation subject, Donika Prela, Head of the First Instance Prosecution for Serious Crimes. The reasoned decision in writing by the court headed by Mr. Roland Ilia, Mrs. Valbona Sanxhaktari rapporteur, Mr. Olsi Komici member, will be notified to the re-evaluation subject, public commissioners and international observers within 30 days. This decision can be appealed to the Special Appellate College by the re-evaluation subject and / or the Public Commissioner 15 days from the date of notification of the Commission’s decision. The appeal will be filed at the Independent Qualification Commission”, notified KPK.
DonikaPrela confounded the US-EU representatives in the International Monitoring Operation when she said that not paying taxes was something normal in Albania. On 22.01.2019, DonikaPrelastated in front of KPK and the International Observer, Theo Jacobs, that she and her husband lived in Albania and not in one of the EU countries, where Mr. Jacobs comes from, and that in Albania tax evasion is something normal. KPK has dismissed lots of judges and prosecutors for such a problem. But even when KPK has not dismissed them, they were dismissed from the Appellate College. The Appellate College dismissed the former Head of the Constitutional Court, Bashkim Dede, and Prosecutor Antoneta Sevdari for even smaller problems. With this kind of standard set by the Appellate College, Donika Prela is automatically dismissed./Pamfleti
