Even after 30 years dictatorship overthrow, the Albanian public personalities “raise hell” against the political-state evil that has captured the nation and the people, but only in their mind, in their villas, apartments, offices, cars, cafes under the quilts of the bedrooms, while they sleep in public, since the comfort and the luxury they have, fears and the visible and invisible temptations for power, have zipped their mouth.
Every Albanian intellectual can find a message of public courage and awareness in the interview of OrhanPamuk, a personality of Turkish letters and free intellectual thought, given to the French magazine “Le Point”, where he speaks openly, firmly and realistically about the arbitrary and the anti-national “sultanism” in his country.
He speaks of the grave social and political situation, resulting in traumatized society, the state seized by mafia, refrained intelligence, corruption, pressure and state repression against media and free speech in Turkey, up to the alienation of the public administration into an “armada” of robotic parades, a verbal applause toErdogan’s cult and his power.
Albania, too, has an “erdoganish” type of rulership, but it also has “OrhanPamuk-s”, who live inside and outside the official territory, who have a modern mindset and active contact with the societies and policies of Western democracy, but still none of them, is reacting to the aggravated Albanian situation, typical as in Turkey, caused by the “erdoganish” Edi Rama.
The Manifesto containing demagogic, arrogant and poses similar to those of a “Monarch” of 500 years ago, read by the all-powerful Rama, during the manifestation called the “congress party”, but also the applauding armada of the administration, gathered in that public square surrounded by the police, is the realistic view of the installed rulership in this country.
Why aren’t these “voices” loud, the voices which such pharaonic and buttaforic regimes like “riilindja” and the overpowering and anti-state and anti-people adventurers, such as Edi Rama, SaliBerisha and IlirMetaj are afraid of?
Knowing that the regimes are afraid of free speech and brighter minds with public support, we ask the question: Where are those names, figures, minds, and influencing words that must warn and can stop and overthrow the evil of autocratic power in Albania, installed and used as a medieval rulership, by a selfish individual with psychological precedence?
Why, even in front of this total political, social, economic and state slump, which is bringing a national abyss, Ismail Kadare and RexhepQosja, these two personalities whose “syllables” would mean a great deal, are not speaking?
It is an emergency moment that for the national interest, Kadare and Qosja, should abandon the converted silence into their children’s diplomatic couch or into “economical” bags “donated” by the oligarchs of power, even for democracy book publishing, or creative vacations, restoration of villas, libraries and private studios!
Because these are public voices that give messages with influential effects on society and intellectual circles, that is why they are heard, trusted, inspired, they awaken from lethargy and unite the popular action against evil, in the face of the power that disregards freedom, respect and representation of the vote, which blocks, threatens and punishes the media and the free speech that drafts laws for power cliques that deny justice and public interest.
Just for a job position of his son, as the directors of PPPs, Fatos Nano is keeping his mouth zipped, a political figure of the civilized left, who really has full dominant influence, who is the word within the decomposed ruling party where anti-rilindja reaction is already awakened, but which is overwhelmingly suppressed, pressured, disrupted and seduced by the “purple” mafia sect.
Just for a deputy mandate for his son, who is a millionaire businessman, the distinguished professor ServetPëllumbi is keeping his mouth zipped, one of the known personalities of Albanian politics and society, and is even “refreshing” the evil called “Rama” in the face of which, he should be an advisor, warner, and strong opponent in the name of national interest.
There is no reaction from the honorable and dignified intellectual RexhepMeidani, the former fighter who disagreed with the anti-PS revanche and the corruption of Edi Rama and ArbenAhmetaj, after they dismissed his son from Customs, and after they appointed him at AKEP, he “is not revealing” anything wrong in Rama’s rulership!
It is time to awaken, not to enjoy the comfort, to vegetate and observe the authoritarian mess which can be called a national destruction./Pamfleti
